How to Submit Your Sitemap to Google Search Console

Generating the sitemap is step one. Step two is telling Google about it.

Step-by-Step

1. Upload your sitemap.xml to your website's root folder.
2. Log in to Google Search Console.
3. Select your property.
4. Click "Sitemaps" in the left sidebar.
5. Enter "sitemap.xml" in the "Add a new sitemap" field.
6. Click Submit.

Google will now queue your site for crawling!
